GUIDELINES
Please, read carefully before preparing your contribution.
How to prepare your contribution ?
All contributions will be presented in English, the working language during the discussions and all the activities of the conference will also be English.
The contributions to be presented in the Reader will be prepared in one common format (see further), the chosen contributions will become key-presentations for the conference (the selected
speakers will be contacted by the organizers individually).
Your contribution should be an overview and example
We expect your contribution to be an overview and summary from a concrete project and experience of your city which could serve as an example (good and/or bad) for other cities.This concrete project and experience of your city must have influenced and most likely will continue to influence the perception of the city by its own inhabitants and/or their visitors.
Common format
Please, in preparing your contribution follow the requested structure, a format which is common for all participants ( GUIDELINES / FORMAT ). As you will see, is divided into 3 parts :
Part 1 : Introduction
a/ Brief general information on your city
b/ Brief description of the city strategies regarding
identity or image – if existing
Part 2 : Example –study
One concrete example of a project, strategy, initiative, activity – realized in your city with the aim of increasing its identity or image (maybe it will be difficult to choose only 1 example, in case you want to show more examples, please fill in the enclosed Format for each example individually. We recommend to prepare max. 2 examples)

Note: The contributions will be sent by e-mail to behindwalls@trencin.sk .Take in consideration the fact, that photos or pictures in the document may dramatically increase the volume of data. In this case we recommend you to send us also a copy of your presentation on CD via post to the
